They will sail about the 7th of Au
gust from San Francisco, Calif.,
for the Hawaiian Islands where
Lieut. Bradley will be stationed for
two years in the air division of the
United States army.

Mr. G. T. Bradford on Saturday
brought to the Messenger office
from his field on osie of the M. G.
& J. J. Dorn farms in Lincoln
County, Ga., near Chamberlain’s
Ferry on Savannah River, a 10-
inch limb from a cotton stalk that
had 18 blossoms and squares and
one half-grown boll within a space
of 8 inches from the end of the
limb back towards the stalk. The
stalk from which the limb was taje-
en had fourteen bolls nearly grown
and a number of other blossoms
and squares on it.
