The recent showers are helping
the crops and gardens, and pros
pects for a good late garden are
encouraging.
Mrs. Agnes Culbreath is able to
sit up some. Her sister-in-law,
Mrs. Susie Winn, spent a part of
last week with her. Mrs. Byrd is
with her this week.

The Home Demonstration Club
will hold its annual club party in
the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. E.
Winn Tuesday night. This is an
ideal place for the party. This is

the hospitality of this home.
The cottage prayer meeting at
the home of Mr. and Mrs. T. C
Winn was largely attended. Though
the weather was threatening,

ages attended and enjoyed the
song and prayer service, led by Mr.
H. E. Freeland. The Sullivan Sun
day School joined us and took part
in the service. Next Sunday
night’s service will be at the
