Sutherland returned home Monday evening from a pleasant visit in Anderson. j We are happy to say that our last news from Mrs. J. W. Morrah was encouraging. She sits up two or three hours each day. Her mahy friends hope for an early re covery. We^ miss her so much. Dr. and Mrs. A. W. Humphries of Camden spent last week at the bedside of Mr. W. R. Boyd. Messrs. Many f friends throughout this section will be interested to learn of the marriage of Mr. Robert Tol- en, son of Mrs. Sallie Tolen and the late Mr. Tolen, and formerly a resi dent of the De la Howe community. The announcement follows: Mr. Robert Michael Tolen and , the bride as maid and Mrs. Pearce Seago was matron qf honor. The bridegroom had his brother, Bailey Rartzog, as best man. v : The Bride The bride was beautifully dressed in a spring suit of gold colored cloth with accessories of dark brown. She wore a corsage of yel low roses. The entire ensemble ac centuated her own unusual color ing and was most becoming. The bride’s mother wore green and she had a corsage of white narcissi. Following the ceremony the bridal party were invited into the dining room where a chicken salad course with sandwiches and coffee and ambrosia and cake were serv ed. At the head of the table was the wedding cake which was first cut by the bride with 7 the usual ceremonies. The young couple left during the afternoon for a wedding trip and will return to Greenwood some time next week to make their home here.
