Bell and Mr. James Patterson were week end visitors in Chester. Dr. R. Lee Olive, Mr. and Mrs. J. G. Glover and Miss Hazel Morgan of Augusta spent Sunday here as guests of Dr. and Mrs. J. L. Jones. Mrs. John T. Faulkner, Mrs. T, C. Faulkner, Mrs. A. H. Faulkner and Mrs. R. L. Faulkner were-shopping in Augusta Monday and visiting Mrs. E. O. Dukes and little E. O., Jr., at the Wilhenford Hospital. Sorry to report Mr. John M. Bell indisposed this week. He was re ported somewhat better yesterday and expects to be out again soon. Miss Sara Bowles spent the week end with relatives in Columbia. Dr. and Mrs. W. G. Blackwell have moved from Parksville to their handsome home just com pleted on Oak Street in McCor mick near the Baptist Church. Mrs. Georgia Talbert is spending .some time in Columbia with her daughter, Mrs. A. F. Burnside. Miss Grace Reid spent the week end with relatives at Richburg. Mrs. John B. Smith, Miss Roberta Smith and Miss Mary Key attend ed the Methodist Conference in Greenwood Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Strom, Mr. and Mrs. Wistar Harmon and Mr. A. C. Bamhardt are visitors in Atlanta today. Mr. and Mrs. E. O. Dukes of 336 Green St., Augusta, Ga., announce the birth of a son, Ellabee Oren, Jr., on November 5, 1931, at the Wilhenford Hospital. Mrs. Dukes is remembered here as Miss Fannie Faulkner before her narriage. The Womans Missionary Society will meet Monday afternoon at 3:30 at the Baptist Pastorium. The Susannah Wesley Bible Class meets with Mrs. P. G. Fooshe and Mrs. G. B. Smith at the home of Mrs. Fooshe Friday afternoon at 3:30. The P.-T. A. meets at the high school auditorium this afternoon at 3:30 o’clock.
