In the development of any community there is no institution that carries more weight, or lends more material assistance, to ward the onward march of progress, than does an institution of finance that is conservatively and efficiently managed and at the same time maintaining a broad and liberal policy consistant with the ethics of banking methods. In all of these important essentials Jlhere is no organization, commercial, industrial, or otherwise, that holds a more important position in the activities pertaining to the advancement and development of this section of the State, than does the Bank of Parksville. It has been a most im portant factor in assisting the farmers in bringing their farms up to the high state of development which has been attained throughout the surrounding territory. It has added much toward the com mercial, industrial and financial development of the town of Parks ville and it is deserving of much credit for the thrift it has brought about in this community. W. R. Parks, president of the Bank of Parksville, is one of the most extensive, as well as progressive planters in this section of the State; is a holder of vast acreage in valuable farm properties as well as town real estate; is interested in commercial operations; and a community builder. His exceptional qualifications fit him admirably for the responsible position he holds and his perfect knowledge of banking house methods has elevated him high up in the esteem of his business associates. J. P. Brunson is assistant cashier, Mr. Brunson is also mayor of the town.
