A good deal of interest is being manifested in this contest to decide who is the most popular lady in town. D)eath of Mr. 8. Arthur Hunt, Mr. S. Arthur Htunt, auditor of Pick ens County, died on Monday last, aged about 30 years. In the early part of last year he married Miss Lillian Werts, of Newberry County, and she and one child survive him. Mr. Hunt was well and most favora bly known to the people of Pickens County, and was serving his second term as auditor. Mr. E. S. Werts, brother-in-law of the deceased, weont np to Pickens some time ago and remained until the end. A Fig in a Fig. Mr. Monroe M.
