Sheriff Catheart, of Richland, is in the city today to serve in the capacity of a witness in the caso against the Gipsy traveller who stole several sets of har ness and other things from citizens of this county several months ago. This has been a case of Sheriff arrest SherlIT. Sherlif Cathcart was notified to come up to the trial, and wirote back that he hoped they could get along without him, when a witness warrant was placed in the hands of Sherity luford. who went down and served the warrant on another Sherif. So lie is up today to attend the trial. Solcitor Seaso will Stand for Ite-Eection. Solicitor T. S. Sease, who has so ably filled the place (f prosecuting oflicer for this (seventh) judicial district for the past four years, will stand for re election. lie is a capable, deserving gentleman and has filled this posi tion with honor and credit to himself and his constituents. lie has had more convictions in his report of the last year than any solicitor in the State. He has done his duty well.
