Columbia, Nov. 1I.-That the Okla homa and Texas cotton growers who are members of the cooperative mar keting association of their respective states are securing a benefit which ranges from $5 to $15 per bale net to them above what non-members are se curing awas the statement made yes terday by C. C. Moser, of Dallas, Texas, secretary of American Cotton Growers' Exchange, who arrived in Columbia for a stay of ive days. Mr. Mdoser said that the War Fl nance Corporation was backing the Texas an'd Oklahoma associations which have already begun,. business j having .furnished them over' $20, 000,000 and that the bankers of the two states are also cooperating. Cotton Takes 41sg rThe cotton 'market has shown de cided improvement during the past few days, local spots yesterday being quot ed at around 17 cents. Following the report of the census bureau on gin nings Monday, showing total ginnings of 270,675 bales to November 14, the market started an upward trend.
