Finkbeiner enter tained a number of their relatives and friends at their home on Church St., in occasion of the 1st anniversary of their wedding. The house decoration were carna tions and ferns, prettily arranged through the rooms. During the evening a delightful musical programa was rendered by Mrs. 1"inkbeiner, and gamzes also furn ished amusement. About eleven o'clock a delicious luncheon was served, the hostess be ing assisted by the Misses Mae Rloper and Daisy Stone. Mr. and Mrs. Finkbeiner were the recipients of many beautiful and use ful gifts. Walker-Hryson. Gaffney, Jan. 20.-On Wednesday af ternoon, January 10, a pretty home wedding was that of Miss Agnes Walk er and Mr. Johny Bryson of 10noree, the Rev. G. C. Leonard, of the Buford Street Methodist church, olliciating. The parlors and reception hall were artistically decorated in smilax and ferns, the color scheme being green and white. Mrs. A. Louis Wood presided at the piano. Preceding the ceremony Miss Lemuel Sarratt sang, "I Love You So." The ribbon-bearers, Joe Hall with Ann .Jeter Butler, Rob Vest with Frances McArthur, formed an aisle for the bridal party, consisting of Miss Alice McClintock, of Ora, with Mr. Will Walker; the groom with his best man, Mr. George Blakely, of 10noree, and Miss Letitia Walker, the maid of hon or. Little Mary Agnes Crews carried the ring in a basket of carnations. The bride entered on the arm of her brother, Mr. Jowry Walker, and all formed a picturesque circle beneath a green bower. The bride wore a tra velling suit of blue broadcloth, with accessories to match; the groom was in conventional black. Mrs. E0d. McArthur received the guests, and after the ceremony a re ception was held; the dining room was tastefully decorated, and at the center table Mrs. Pratt Pierson and Mrs. W. F. Smith cut cream, assisted by Mrs. Mills Allen and Misses Mary ioltsclaw, Lois Turner and Sciralh Byers. Many beautiful gifts showed the popularity of the young couple. They left in an automobile for Spar tanburg, where they took the .train for Florida and Cuba. After their re turn they will be at home at Enoree, where the groom is a rising young banker.
