The little fellow was returning home from a pleasure ride when in some way he lost his balance and fell from the run ning mule. Both bones of the right artu were broken a few inches from the wrist. Most of the farmers have finished "laying by" or rather quit work, as it was impossible to get the crops clean of grass. We notice that some of "the b9.3s" have turned out some of their worst Patches. Of course these patch es are not on the road. .\lr. and Mrs. Karl Gray were the gue:sts of Mrs. J. C. All her friends (and she has many) will be glad to know that Miss Susie Langston is getting on nicely. She was brought from the hospital Sunday morning. We are all hopeful that she will soon be herself again. We were glad to see Mrs. Lena Brown at S. S. Sunday, Mrs. Brown looked very much at home at Pros pect. Mrs. Brown is up on a two weeks' visit to the family of her son, Mr. Furman Brown and other relatives here. All her old friends are glad to see her again. Miss Marie MIadden accompanied her sister, Mrs. Kate Bell home Satur (lay, where she will visit for a short while. Miss Allie lHollingsworth has re turned homne after a pleasant visit to her sister, Mrs, liessie lite, of Cross 11ill.
