Mr. and Mrs. Archie Bean of Easley spent the week-end with relatives in this section. Mr. and Mrs. Thad Moore of Mad den visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Hoper Saturday and Sunday. A Temperance Contest. A temperance contest, under the auspices of the Gray Court-Owlngs W. C. T. U., will be held in the school building there on the evening of May 9th, begiuing at S:30 o'clock. The contestants are as follows: Ruth Barksdale, Jewell Curry, Ruth Curry, Nell McCall, Shaw Johnson, Floyd Jones. The public }s cordially invited to attend. No admission will be charged.
