Young of tho Friendship section, was a visitor in the city Mon day. Mr. and Mrs. Elmore Simpson of Clinton visited in Laureii3 last Sat urday. Mrs. G. W. L. Teague of Waterloo was among the visitors in Laurens last Friday. Mr. R. Brooks Chlldress has return ed from the lower part of the state whore he has been selling bronchos. Mrs. James Wham, who has been spending some time with relatives in Trinity Ridge, has returned to Ches ter. Mr. and 2tfrs. It. I). Adams, of Char leston, have been visiting Mr. and Mrs. Balle Crisp In this city for several days. Miss Fay Hudgens, of the Connie Maxwell Orphanage, has been visit ing relatives In the city for several days. Mr. and Mrs. R. F. Wade and little child, of Cross Hill, spent Sunday and a part of Monday In the city with rel atives. Miss Minnie Dorroh and Mrs. P. A. Simpson, are attending the Missionary Union meeting of Enoree Presbytery at Jonesville this week. Drs. A. .1. Christopher, W. D. Fergu son and Isadore Schayer attended the Pellagra conference In Columbia tho latter part of last week. Mr. Fingal C. Black, a well known civil engineer and educator, spent sov eral days in the city last week with his relatives, Mr. and Mrs. Ruf us Dun lap. Mr. Eugene S.
