Craig, formerly of Lau rens, now a prominent business man of Greenwlod passed through the city Monday en route to Columbia. Mr. J. T. McKinney was called to Anderson Monday to be at the bed side of his father, who suffered a stroke of paralysis and is critically ill. Capt. J. M. Philpot and Miss Marie Philpot will leave today for Washing ton, Baltimore and other northern ci ties. They will be gone several weeks. Mrs. C. A. Foster of Timmonsville, who is spending some time here with her mother, Mrs. W. T. Dorrob, left Monday for a few days in Woodruff. Mr. and Mrs. J. J.
