Publicity in your newspaper is simply salesmanship on paper, and the same rules- apply to it as apply to salesmanship in your store. Sup pose you were determined to soil some of these goods to some particular cus tomer. Deatb of a Most Excellent Woman of the County. Mrs. Bessie Todd Cunningham, wife of Mr. Oeo. W. Cunningham, a well known citizen of the Long Branch sec tion of the county, died Saturday morning. Her demise was a great shock and surprise to the family, for Mrs. Cunningham had been as well apparently Friday and Friday night as usual. Early Saturday morning It was discovered that the spirit of the wife and mother had departed, and neighbors were at once notified of the sad event. The funeral services, conducted by Rev. J, L. McLin, pastor, were held at Rocky Springs church Sunday at noon. Mrs. Cunningham was a daughter of Mr. Joe T. Todd of the county and was a most estimable woman and Chris tian lady. Polls shall open at the hour of S o'clock in the forenoon and shall remain open until the hour of 4 o'clock in tin; afternoon when they shall close and the ballots be counted.
