I respect- 1 fully crave your Indulgence to sub-' mil the following facts: the legisla ture of 1910 appropriated $1000.00 and the supervisors advertised for bids lant January. On the day of letting ihn?' bids were submitted, two of those bids wen- for a wooden bridge. $1090.00 and $2000.00 and one bid for ,a steel bridge, $2950.00. Ah ail of these bids exceeded the amount appro priated, $1600.00 the contract was not awarded.
