We should grow hogs on green rapo, rye. barley and oats and a little dry corn in January and February; on green crimson clover, bur clover, vetch, oats, etc., and a little dry corn In March; on Clovors and rape and a little dry corn in April and May; on green clovers and ripe oats in June; on green clover, pears, soy beans and a little dry corn in July and August, and ratten them during September, October, November and December in about the following way: if on Sep tember 1st. a pig weighing 100 pounds be put on soy beans or cow peas, or both, and fed about one-fourth of a full ration of corn, he will weight from IL'.", to 135 pounds by October 1st. If during October he is put on soy beans or peas and fed about one-fourth of a ration of corn, be should grow 40 pounds, or reach a weight or fram 105 to 175 pounds by November 1st. After the devo tional exercises there \vi?s a program of music and entertaining talks on the subject of missions. Among the sub jects discussed was "What a Century of Christianity has done for Women" jthis was interestingly told in a paper by Mrs. T. [<\ Simpson. Mrs. .1. W. Todd told of the missionaries she had seen ami heard at Montreal and of their work and life. Mrs. .1. II. Tongue recited "A Cry from the Congo." Mrs. .1. I). W atts read a paper on medical missions. Mis. T. I). Darlington read a paper "The Value of Organization". Miss Corinna Penlo of Cincin nati played Godard's Berceuse from ? locelyn" on the violin with Mrs. j II. K Aiken as accompanist. Miss Penle also sang "The Morning Glory." A committee of ladies was appointed to arrange for the Laurons county missionary institute which meets with this church on the eleventh of May when the delegates will be entertained at a luncheon. rnn Mrs. W.
