Below is a clipping from The Stale which should he of interest to many teachers and trustees; "The school law of this state re quires every teacher in a public school of any kind to have a certificate to teach. The stale superintendent of i education has recently called attention ) to the law. and a circular letter calling I particular attention to this require meat has recently been sent by the high school inspector to the principal of every state aided high school. Not withstanding all these, dozens of teachers in these schools throughout the state are yet without certificates. Most of them are depending upon their diplomas. A diploma does not entitle the holder to teach; a diploma from nil accredited college gives the holder the right to a Certificate to teach. Some of these schools are going to lind themselves emharrassed. since no money whatever will he sent to any of these schools until every teacher in it has a valid Certlflcitto". in The Tuft Itimuuct.
