The New Waltz. The young people who Indulge In the giddy mazes of the wait?, will hear with Interest thai the heads of Washington and New York society have declared that a "sitting out" wait/, will ho more fashionable from now on than dancing. The "sitting out" embodies the same position as dancing, the only ulft'erence is that you i- it instead of dance. The man's tight arm is around the girl s waist while his left hand holds her tight. Her left hand is placed on his shoul der, while her bead rests lovingly on bis bosom and all they have jo do is to sit and listen to the music. Now, that is something like it. We have always regarded it as quite a nuisance to gallop a mile or two. a room full ot people sitting around on sofa^ hugging to music is more to our notion. This will give the old rheu matic brethren another good chance to wait/. Most men waltz. Iiol for the dance but for the position, and while many a man may lose his appe tite for dancing, he has to get power ful old before be loses his appetite for hugging a pretty girl. Greenfield Times.
