made brief arguments. Magistrate

The extent of Davis' soliciting here,
so f;>r as known, Consisted in the dis
tribution of an envelope containing a
typewritten circular letter, extolling
iho superior qualities of the whiskies
offered for sale and begging for a

ton before coming to Laurens and he
