As provided by tho constitution and by-laws of tho Laureus city Demo cratic club this organization mot Mon day afternoon and reort-auiznd for the ensuing two years. The meeting wat called to order by President A. C. Todd who stated Us object, adding that he wished to retire as president of the club, having served in this ea pacity since the organization nt' tin club four years ngo. Simpson. The appointment of a committee on enrollment was made by President Habb. the following being named for this work: Ward Ouw, W. s. Bagwell; Ward Two, Adolph Shaver; Word Three, R, s. Halb?, Jr. Thus the machinery has been put in motion for the regular biennial city primary election which, according lo the club's constitution, will be held on the third TuoHday In February. In this election a candidate for Mayo: and six Alderman will be nominated by tho qualified Democratic elector: of this city for the general municipal election to be held in March. Fever Sores.
