/mmmSHE MOST PRIZED of all musical instruments is a good, / sweet toned piano. It affords the best entertainment for boys and girls and the old folks in the home. That's why you should buy a piano. But don't make the mis take that's often made of buying an inferior instrument. If you do not play yourself you have to take the dealer's word for it. An agent is not so particular about the statement he makes, for after the sale is made he is out and gone. It's different with me, for the people of this county know me. I have been selling pianos and organs for several years and expect to stay in the bus iness, so what I tell you about an instrument you can depend on, as I have my reputation of selling honest goods to maintain. That is one difference of buying of me and buying of an agent. And, another is, for the same quality instrument you will find my prices less. Get interested and let me talk the matter over with you. I am in a position to make you any reasonable terms either on pianos or organs?cash or installments. I do not misrepresent; you know what an instrument is if you buy of me. Let me tell you about any of them listed below. ii 6 The McPhail Piano This is the 71st year of the McPhail Piano business at Boston, Mass., "the centre of music of this country. The McPhail Piano has received more gold medals than any other piano and it is the only piano having compensation rods in the hack of the case, a sure guarantee that the piano will stand any strain which may he upon the frame when the piano is tuned. We have sold over forty of these pianos in I,aurens county and, have yet to hear of one not giving satisfaction. The Peerless Piano The most renowned of my automatic Pianos is the Peerless. It having been given the highest award at the vSt. 1,ouis and other expositions. It is exported into all fow.-ign countries where a demand has been created for an automatic piano. This piano may be operated by electricity or play by any performer from the key board. The Starr Piano Our Starr Pianos have taken the highest awards in many hot competitions at the Columbian World's Fair, the vSt. Louis World's Fair and at Nashville Exposition and also at Portland, Oregon Exposition and other places. These awards count for something and the Starr pianos arc not to be classed with those pianos receiving awards where there was no competition, such as the Jamestown Exposi tion, which was an insignificant affair, compared with the other up-to-date and strongly competitive expositions. There arc more Starr Pianos in Colleges and High .Schools than of any other pianos manufactured.
