r * Slave \ Sf To Morphine From Doctor's Orders. RnbU Worse Tf>*n the Disease. Dr. Miles* Nervine Cured Me. . When the nervous system has been shattered by the use of deadly drugs there is nothing to equal Dr. Miles' Nervine in restoring it to health and normal activity.* "I feel so grateful for what Dr. Miles' Restorative Nervine has done for me that I must tell it for that part of humanity that suffers as 1 have. During the three years I suffered from nervous prostration I found no relief except when doctoisgave morphine. To get rid of suffering I took morphine myself as it was the only thinjj that would give ease, and now you, who point with scorn at M morphine using, how could you, when in such agony, knowing it about the only thing that vouhl give relief, resist it? 1 knew it :u" l.C!. _ ? j T ? - *. iciiiiiic nnuii ami i Kncwoi US iieailiy grasp, but 1 never fully realized its signihcancc until I had used it a number of months. ^ Oh, the miscrv of being addicted to such a habit. I resolved then and there to quit it and resolved I would never be a slave to any such demon. About this time 1 happened to notice Dr. Miles' Restorative Ncrvyie advertised and ordered a bottle. After using five bottles I can truthfully say I am cured of using morphine. Now. however much persons may doubt it, God is my witness I am cured. This testimonial is unsolicited but I feel it my dutv to give it for tha benefit of the suffering."?Mattik Phillips, Prescott, Ark. All druggists sell and guarantee first bottle Dr. Miles' Remedies. B George, of Lexington county, has not yet submitted to Kicbland county his detailed statement of the cost for the Tillman trial, except fordietiug the iurv, whi< li bill amounts to $200, and the bill for the twelve jurymen, which is $270. There is nn interesting point to be de, v* cided as to the pay of the rest of the venire for the second week when the trial started. Lexiogton county holds that this county is liable for the pay of the other twenty-four jurors for the first day of the second week, but the commissioners do not think that this county is liable for the pay of anv exceot the twelve m.?n that heard the case, a* the other twenty-tour wore summoned to be present and in the interval could have heard any case, 'lhis poiut may haye to be settled by the attorney general. Rlr. George estimated tho other day that the costs of the witnesses would be about $1,600 and that the other costs would be about $600, making the total amount about $2,500 in round numbers. This is not all, however. For two terms the case was heard in mis county, one oeing an argument for a continuance and the other for a change of venue. At both of these, witnesses were present and Clerk Douglass this morning estimated that the total cost tor witnesses at these hear V ings would be about $500, making the total cost of the case1 about $3,000, which is a much lower estimute thuu was first] j^ made by county officials.?Columbia Record.
