In his paper and experiments
before the Saratoga convention
Dr. Coaklev used an instrument
invented by himsef, called thei
"organometer." This overcomes
nil objections to the use of a li-i
quid injection, he explained, in
that it reached th? diseased por-!
lions of the lungs without any injury
to those organs. It does this
by the uro of h line gold needle
that punctures the lungs and
spreads the solution. When t he j
lungs have been reached thei
sodium chloride is pumped into
them and takes immediate effect.

reaches the bacteria, the physician
explains, first inhibits their

increases the white blood cells i

holds, thus strengthening the diseased
organ, while it destroys and j

the body temperature, it is absorbed
