The senior of the brothers is married and expects his family in a few daya. As soon as a business house can be secured the brothers will open up a mercantile business also. Parkinson of Little Rock. Ark., whs elected a professor in the Theological Seminary at Due West, S. C.,and that Rev. W.W. Orr, of Corsicana, Texas., was elected agent for Krskine College. Rev. J. S. MofFatt, of Chester, was elected treasurer of the Theological Seminary as the successor of the late Joseph Wylie who held that position for many years. Rev. D. G.j Phillips of Bradley, S. C., will take charge of a new mission in Birmingham, Ala., for five years at a salary of $1,000 per annum. Rev. J. A. Wilson, D. D., of Alleghany, Pa., was the fraternal delegate of the U. P. church and Rev. W. L. Press Icy, 1). D., of Duo West, will represent the A. It. P. Synod at the U. P. Assembly next May. The Synod accepted the A. R. P. Orphanage property at Hickory Grove from the board of trustees, and elected a now board composed of twelve men, representing all the Presbyteries in the Synod.
