Basmajian, a native Armenian, from Constantinople, preached in the courthouse Sunday at 11 o'clock on the "Oriental Churches", and again at night in the Methodist church on the "Crescent against the Cross"? The exercises were interspersed with songs b7 the lecturer in the Turkish and in *he Armenian languages. He sang very sweetly and effectively several songs in English, and in some of them, he was joined by the entire audience, producing a volume of music rich, rare and soul stirring. Mr. Basmajian gives another entertainment at the courthouse tonight (Tuesday) and tomorrow he goes to Heath Spring where he will lecture.
