We have passed upon all bills of indictment submitted to us by the Solicitor. We have examined the books > of tbe Dispensary at Lancaster and find same well and neatly kept. The gross sales of said Dis I pensary for the past three months amount to $1481.40, gross profits to $802.19 and net protits to $448.25. 'I We have also examined the books of the Dispensary at Kershaw and find them nentlv nrwl I well kept. The j:ross sales of ' said Dispensary for the past three f months amount to $3358.55, fiross profits to $665.18 and net profits t to $286.37. In our last report we recomendi ed that the Dispenser at Kershaw i be required to do his own clerical work for the most part of the time on account of the small amount I of business done by said Dispensary but we have since discovered that the committee that examined the books of said Dispensary at that time were mistaken in the amount of the sales and we therefore now withdraw said recom, mendation. t We also recommended in our last report that certain necessary repairs be made on the Court House and .Jail but same have not been made. We now renew said recommendation and urge that, said work be done as soon as possible. We recommend that the blinds of the court room be kept closed when the court room is not in use r as the window glass are liable to be broken by t he slamming of the blinds. Our foreman was present when the County Treasurer hud his annual settlement with theComp t troller (ienernl and examined the vouchers submitted and said set' dement w.i- correctly made so far as he could judge. We have appointed a committee ot our body and an expert to ex amine the books of the various county ollicers which committee will inak" their report by the Fall term ol 1 his court.
