Last fall I sprained my left hip
while handling some heavy boxes.

it went off, the ball striking Barber
in the left leg. The wound
though very painful is not considered
dangerous.

the farmer has plenty of work to
do. The ground should be stirred
around all crops as noon as possible
and in order to do that it is

weeks steady work in the crop
will finish the work of cultivating
the crops, but don't neglect
to row peaR ; get as many of them I

hay is being shipped here to feed
stock when our farmers can raise
an abundance of forage to supply
the demand at homo and at paying
prices.

The schedule on the (). It. C.
has changed. The south bound
train passes here now at 10:05 a.
m., and the north bound at 1 :40
p. m.

At the last session of the legislature,
that body changed the
time for holding courts in the 6th
circuit. By some means?not accounted
for?there w as no provision
made for opening the court of
common pleas In the Ledger of
14th "Lex" has this to say :
"The existence of Section 26 of
the Code appears to have been
entirely overlooked by the Legislature;
and in the repealing
clause has the Act which is gen
eral and sweeping, this Section
26, which was the only authority
for holding the courts of Common
Pleas at the summer terms, was
overlooked, and not retained. So
if this Section 26 of the Code is
repealed by the recent Act, there
is now no authority for holding
the court of Common Pleas at
the June term. Such appears to
be the obvious construction of
the effect of the recent Act.
