C., WEDNESDAY, Our \of/ro Shoots Anothoi Fatali if. .Jim Morgan, who lives on tin the plantation of .Mr. .Jas.I). liailv Jr.. was shot Saturday afternoon by .Joe Harper, both colored, and died Sunday morning about day li'ht from the client ot tin wound. Ihii notwithstanding tliis, he caught Morgan there again a night 01 two belore the fatal day. They met at the Hear Creek trestle and Harper asked Morgan what ho was doing at his house Thursday night.- Morgan replied : "who said I was there?'' whereupon Harper drew his pistol ami tired, the ball taking ell'ect .just under Morgan's left jaw, and lodging in the back of his neck. Coroner Young held an inquest over the body Sunday, and the ' verdict was that Morgan came to ; his death from a pistol shot at j the hands of Joe Harper. Sherill Olyburn arrested Harper and he j is now in jail. | DEATH OF CORA EUNICE NISBET. Death, that certain but always unwelcome vistor, on the 31st, Oct. 1S97, entered the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. V. Nisbet, and bore away litte Eunice their only daughter and child. ? Cora Eunice Nisbet was born Oct. 7, 1895, and died Oct. dlst, 1897. Two years and twenty lour days were suflicient for the *t fulfilment of her mission in this | world.
