Zioinstitute every Friday members of the different classes are called upon to recite before the assem bled school poetry, which is selected for them by the teachers and which they are given several weeks to pre pare. In order to make time for these recitations, some of the classes aie dispeneed with for the day. The dif ferert classes take turn about on Fri days, and last Friday the junior and senior classes recited. This practice is thought by the teachers to be very improving to the pupils, and i has been customary for years paqt at Mt. Zion.
