LOCAL INTELLIGENCE' Saturday, November 5, - 1899 A SCHOLraSHIP. n Neel-Heverlo Business College and School of Shorthand and Typewriting of Spartanburg, S. C. We are prepared to offer a scholar ship in this college in a course in book-keeping, or if the applicant pre fers, a course in stenography and typewriting. Tbis scholarship is worth_.*35 -and will enable the one holding it to complete the course free of all charge except cost of books, stationery, &c., amounting to five or six dollars. The person winning the scholarship will be required to promise that he or she will remain until the course is thoroughly completed. The scholarship will be given to the person ,vho secures for THE NEWS AND HERALD the largest number of sub scribers. Of course subscription price must be remitted when the name is sent.
