On last Wednesday evening at two o'clock Mr. Henry L. Parr, of this cunty, was named to Miss Mary Boyd, of Newberry. The ceremony was per formed by Rev. E. P. McClintock, ol the A. R. P. Church. The newly married couple took the south-bound train immediately, gettirig off at Aston. They repaired to the hospita ble home of Mr. Jno. K. Ragsdale where they will beard until Mr. Parr builds a dwelling house. Mr. Parr is a son of the late Col. Henry W. Parr, who owed and lived upon a large and remnnerative plantation near Alston. Mr. H. L. Parr will build there in the nar future. The bride is a daughter of the present county treasurer of Newberry.
