XiI. The liunion, after the annual mneeting in August. 18,9, shall meet luarterly omj the 20th day of October, .Jantiary, April and July. The antinal niteetinlg shall be held on the 20th day of August in each year. X Ill. All minnfers of any comnpa nies cotnnected with the 12th Riegiment, S. C. V., at, any time from the (late it Was called into service to the close of tlie late war, together with the field and stall, are cordially invited to unite with this oeunion. XIV. Each member of this Reunion shall pay an admission fee of twent.y five cents, and twenty-five cents thereafler at each annual meeting. Col. 11. C. Davis was then rcqtuested to take the chair, as president. On taking the chair he thanked the men bers for the honor conferred on him, and made a few remarks in vindication of the reginettt, con cludingby saying that lie wanted to see a reorganization oft tho entire regiment, and paid a hand somne compliment to the youthful Col. Frank Clyburn, of Lancaster county. A conmittee of two was appointed to enroll the names of all survivors who were present, and the enro llnent r wits made accordingly. C., in Council met: That, for the purpose ot raising sup. lis for the year commencing April 1, 879, nd ending April 1, 1880, a tax for he sums and in the manner hereinafter nenttioned shall be raised and paid into ,ho treasury of the said town, for the use rnd service thereof, that is to say: two md one-half mills ad valorem upon every lollar of the value of all the real and per tonal property within the corporate liinIts )f the town of Wiunsboro; two dollars to Ju paid by every muale inhabitant between Ie ages of sixteen and fifty-fIvo years, in iou of working upon the streets of said own; and three per cent. uport the unount of sales at auction. 2. All taxes assessed and payable un ler this shall be paid in the following unds of funds and no other: Gold and ;ilver coin, United States currency and tational bank notes. 3.
