Water Well Drillers
Are Money Makers
Everybody uses water. A drilled
well is the only means df obtaining a
pure, cold and unfailing supply. Dug
wells and springs are simply cess pools
for collecting disease breeding surface
drainage. 85 per cent, of typhoid
fever is contracted from bad water.
A Keystone Drill will penetrate the
bed rock and tap the pure, unfailing
streams below. All surface water is
securely cased off. A drilled well
’•arely goes dry in the most protracted
.iron*'... It is safe.
Tteic s more money in a Keystone

ATLANTA VOTES CLEAN.
IMMORALITY VOTED DOWN BY
7719 TO 4570—MADDOX WINS FOR
MAYOR.
Atlanta, Dec. 3.—Robert F. Maddix
it the next mayor of Atlanta.
He won a decisive victory by a ma
jority of 3,149 in the eight wards oi
the city.
He carried six of the eight wards
and lost two wards by very small ma
jorities. The two wards that he lost
were the third and fifth, and In the
third Woodward’s majority was only
21, and in the fifth it was only 51.
This was about as even a break as
could have been expected.
Mr. Maddox carried six wards by
large majorities. In the second,
fourth, sixth, seventh and eighth
wards Mr. Maddox’s majorities were
sufficient to have elected him if all
the other wards had been a tie or
broken even.
Never before has there been such an
uprising of the people. Backed by a
determination to purify the city and
to make it clear once for all that the
good name of Atlanta cannot be de
filed with impunity, all classes have
Joined together to wage such a cam
paign as has never been seen in the
municipal history of Atlanta.
The election was noticeable for the
absence of any disorder, and this fact
was accounted for by the presence ol
business men at each polling place
who were there to work and not tc
talk.
Election day in Atlanta, from all
points of view, was a perfect success
The result, of course, being the
greatest success.

person of Alse Crosby, a well-to-do
and prominent farmer of the Bay
Springs neighborhood.
With several of his neighbors he
was fighting back the Area His
clothing caught fire, and he was over
come by the heat and exertion and
was consumed so completely that
when his remains were found there
was nothing to Identify them hut a
heap of charred bones.

afflicted with kidney trouble. Several
months ago I was suddenly attacked
by a severe pain across the small of
my back which grew worse until on
one occasion, 1 was confined to the

move about. The kidneys were also
sluggish in action and from this I de
cided that they were out of order.
When 1 was advised to try Doan’s
Kidney Pills, i decided to do so and
procured a box at a drug store. They
soon cured me and I have had no
backache or any annoyance from the
kidneys since.”
