One hundred and fifty state militia men, under command of Colonel. W. C. Totom, which left here Tuesday night and reached Union City at an early hour Wednesday morning, will be dis. tributed through the disSurbed district. Governor Patterson has given out the following statement: “I have offered the largest reward the law will permit for the arrest and oonviction'of the assassins of Rankin •ad Taylor, and have also ordered •ut 100 troops to meet me at Union City, where I go to take charge of the situation.
