He leaves a wife and fourteen children to morn hia death. He was the father of twenty children of which six are dead. He had one hundred and fifty grand children and great-grandchildren. It seems that he never forgot what God told Adam and Eve when they were In the garden of Eden. God told them/ to be faithful and multiply. Deceased was sick about two months and five days when the death angel came and took him to rest. He was a hard working man and a good neighbor. Two years ago he almost determined not to be a can dldate for senator, on account of his practice. He has a host of friends and a large clientage which has made a partner imperative. The new firm will occupy the largo suite of rooms over Carroll & Byers’ store on Limestone street, and will rank as one of the strongest law firms in the State. The Ledger is glad to welcome Mi.
