Wo admit that The ^ Record was warranted in making the assertion but tbor n was no warrant for its refusal to say it was in error when the error was made perfectly nlaln. Th n re are circumstances which make it necessary for us to apologize to The Record and to. in whatever measure wo can, make amends for printing a hurriedly penned paragraph. It is true that we “corned” The Re cord in a matter concerning United States revenue licenses issued to drug stores in Gaffney, and we failed to see any acknowledgment on the part of The Record, if any was ever made. Oth< r attractions are to bo added. A domestic department where the art and science of bread and cake making, with other culinary dainties can be exhibited and prizes competed for. The baby show will prove an at traction that no one can resist, and the ladies have decided on making this an especial feature of the show thiij fall. It is also their intention and desire to have a floral parade, and we sincere ly hone they may be able to induce the merchants to enter this parade and help make the “Gaffney Flower Show” a grand success and a regular gala week, offering inducements that may bring not only tlm peonle from the country, but neighboring towns as well.
