Hick son. of Limestone, filled his regular appointment at Goucher last Satur day and Sunday, delivering two inter esting sermons. The crowd was small Saturday but Sunday a large crowd was present. Mr. M. W. Brown, our hustling mer chant. spent last Friday night in Gaffney. He “took in” the reception at Limestone College which he en joyed very much. Miss Minnie Brown, a student of Limestone College, spent Saturday and Sunday here with h t parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Brown. Mr. and Mrs. Geo. E. Brown and children, of Jonesvtlle. visited here last Sunday evening. Miss Lona Green, who we reported going to Hot Springs. N. C.. has re turned to her home here. *• Mr. J. T. Farmers are complaining of the shortness in the cotton crop, which we believe will average about half a crop. All the pea crop was cut off by the recent frosts. Mr. Joseph M.
