Willdnsvilie, Feb. 26.—Mr. John H. Wilkins has started him a new dwelling house. Mr. J. L. S.. I don’t tMnk your let ters take up too much space in The Ledger, as all enjoy reading them. I know Little Miss Ruth Moorehead went out the other day with the dosns and she soon came in with a fine old rab bit. Misses Virgin and Annie Wilkins and Lottie Inman and Bessie Moore head spent third Sunday at Mr. and Mrs. John Estes, and all had a fine time. Boys, if you want a good cook go to Mr. Estes’ “C.” of Ravenna, thinks he will get out of feeding the candidates bv kill ing all of his chickens, but “Co..” you are badly mistaken, for I am sure they will come up there, so you may keep all the chickens you can. Of course all ladies hate candidates for I have heard them say “I am glad this is not candidate year, for I can go to all the Children’s Days I want to, and not have to come home and get supper for a crowd of them old things.” I had better hush, but “C.” you can just eat all of your chickens if you wish, but you will have to fe^d them on ham or something good. Mr. T. Orr. of Jonesvllle. visited our section Sunday Misses Nannie Byars and Bessie Moorehead attended relifjious ser vices at Skull Shoals last Sabbath. Mrs. Eliza -Proctor spent last Sat urday and Sunday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Wilkins. Misses Lottie and Sudie Inman spent last Sunday with their cousins, Misses Virgie. Annie and Edna Wil kins. Mr. Jeff Estes was on this ’' - of the river Sunday. Mrs. J. T. Moorehead has a rite bad case of poisinoak on her arm. The trees are almost in bloom, but I am afraid they are in too big a hurry, as there will be more cold weather yet. Mr. Gibbs Wilkins killed a hog last Ssturdav, Mrs. J. T. Moorehead ordered 500 cabbage plants but I think the rab bits are going to take half of them. Mrs. Alice Pridmore is visiting her mothe»-. Mrs. Bailev, of Pacolet who fell a short time ago ami broke her hip. Most of the men from around here have gone up to court today. Blue Eyes. Doctors Are Puzzled. The remarkable recovery of Ken neth Mclver, of Vanceboro, Me., is the subject of much interest to the medi cal fraternity and a wide circle of friends. I was induced io try Dr. King’s New Discovery and I am happy to say, it saved my life." Cures the worst Coughs and Colds, Bronchitis. Tonsilitis, Weak Lungs, Hoarseness and La Grippe.
