The second game of the series be
tween the teams of. The Ledger and
The Cherokee News was played on
Tuesday afternoon. The teams were
more evenly matched than in the first
game, but there was some ragged play

and snappy. For The Ledger Snead
pitched a steady game, keeping the
hits well scattered. Humphries and
Richardson both pitched good ball.
Richardson being especially effective
throughout the five innings pitched by
hi^>. Hamrick caught, as usual, in j
faultless style, hut was a little off in!
his throwing.
