New York, Oct. 12.—Jealousy on the part of a boy two and one-half years old against his baby sister, one month old, has led to the death of the lat ter at the hands of the boy. The tragedy occurred In the family of Nicholas Robinson at Nyack, N. Y. Since the little girl came a month ago, the boy exhibited many times ev idences of jealous rage. When at tempts were made to interest him In the little one he frequently ran away crying and once he upset the cradle. Finally he was left alone for a few minutes in the room where the baby lay asleep. The boy was playing with a small bronze statuette he cried to his mother: “Hurry! who, "ninety-nine times dut of a hun dred, seeks divorce that he may have more marriages.” The proper conception of matrimo ny was declared to be the basis of a pure and anticipatory life, as well aa the best determent from evil. The conference voted to join with otJTer churches in an attempt to se cure the enactment of uniform divorce laws in every state. like a Check like This?
