Lipscomb and three sons returned from a mountain trip last week. Mr. Lipscomb contemplates another trip about October first and wants a crowd. If you want to go speak to him about it. Mrs. C. IS. Robertson and Miss Edna left yesterday morning on the 12:20 train for Montgomery, Ala., where they go to visit Mrs. Robert son’s mother. They will^bo gone six or eight weeks. Mr.. Robertson left on the same train for Greenville, where he goes to attend Tresbvtery. He will return to the city Saturday. Wo are pleased to see Misses Ofelia Turner and Annie Wood %t home again, after a pleasant visit to Mrs. W. F. Bryant at I’acolet. Sydney Elliott, of Blacksburg, was in the city Tuesday.
