S.S.S. guaranteed purely Vegetable ) is a real blood remedy for blood diseases and has no equal. Mrs. Y.T. Buck, of Delaney, Ark., had Scrofula for twenty-five years and most of the time was under the care of the doctors who could not relieve her. A specialist said he could cure her, but he filled her with arsenic and potash which almost ruined her constitution. She then took nearly v every so-called blood V.\ medicine and drank '' them by the wholesale, ■hut they did not reach ,her trouble. Some one advised her to try ' S.S.S. and she very soon found that she had a real blood remedy .t last. She says: “After tak ing one dozen bottles 'of S.S.S. I am perfectly well, my skin is clear and healthy and I would not be in my former condition for two thousand dollars. Instead of drying up the poison in my system, like the potash and arsenic, S.S.S. drove the disease out through the skin, and I was perma nently rid of it.” ... A Real Blood Remedy. Several families in the city have moved out to Limestone Springs for a few weeks for rest, and to enjoy the quietude of that most beautiful and salubrious location in the State. The letter reached this office too late for publication this week. R. A. Jones broke dirt last Monday for his new store on Limestone street. We have seen the plan as drawn by L. Baker, our local architect and builder. It promises to he one of the handsomest buildings in the city. Mr Baker has the contract. A friend has presented to the Kate Montgomery Library at Cooper-Lime stone a new and handsomely bound set of Encyclopedia Dritanica of twenty-eight volumes. The contri bution is highly appreciated. M. (i. Montgomery, of the Enter prise Stable, luiH added a first-class hearse to his splendidly equipped stables. Mike is very enterprising and wo would like to see him make a great success of his enterprise—out side of the hearse. Persons owning canines should call on Chief of Police Camp or Officer Lipscomb and secure a muzzle and tax receipt at once. Otherwise you are liable to lose your dog, as the officers have instructions to kill all dogs found running at largo without a muzzle. There is some dissatisfaction about the dog muzzle law. It looks like an injustice tit require the owners to pay taxes and muzzle them too. It would he sufficient to pay tuxes and only muzzle those known to ho vicious. It’s rather tough on the dog tore- quire him to wear a muzzle this hot weather. Other Local News on Pages 1 and 7. C IV ,s,\ \ DKKS. of S|Mirt:iiibiiru.
