Alex Ferguson had a cat which he- |
gnu to cat his small chickens. He i
put the cat in sack and took it to |
Limestone on the dummy, where he ‘
i placed it in the commissary to keep !
I company with the rodents about !
seven ecks ago. Last week tin’ cat
got out and made its way hack to
I Alex’s house, a distance of two miles, j
i It had never been over the ground i
j before. Alex says that the look of |
recognition which passed over the I
j countenances of the cat and his pug
I upon meeting again was astonishing
) to behold. The cat and pug are quite j
friendly, so much so that they eat j
their food in the same vessel. Any 1
other cat would be an unwelcome vis- j
itor to tho Furgeson houehold.
Later: Alex te
a car of lime and put
and some bread and meat with him
and shipped him to Yorkvillc. Alex
says if it takes him seven weeks to
come home from Limestone how long
will it take him to come from York-
x’ille.

Last June Dick Crawford brought
i his twelve-months-old child, suffering
from infantile diarrlnra, to me. It
had been weaned at four months old
and had always been sickly. I gave
it the usual treatment in such cases
hut without benefit. The child kept
growing thinner and thinner until it
weighed hut little more than when
! borne, or perhaps ten pounds. I
j then started the father to giving
j Chamberlain’s Colic, Cholera and Di-

| of the 25 cent size had been used a
marked improvement was seen and
its continued used cured the child.
Its weakness and puny constitution
disappeared and its father and my
self believe the child’s life was
