A steak supper was served the guests on the card tables before bridge was enjoy ed. The members of the Barnwell Chap ter, D. A. R., were charmingly enter tained by Mrs. C. N. Burckhalter on Friday afternoon. The rooms were made most attractive by the use of lovely spring flowers. The meeting was presided over by the regent, Mrs. L. M. Cave. After a short devotional a business session was held, reports from all officers and committees be<- ing heard at this time. May being the time for election of officers, the following were nominated and unani mously elected for 1937-’38: Regent, Mrs. L. M. Cave, re-elected; Vice regent, Mrs. B. L. Easterling, re-elect ed; Recording secretary, Mrs. W. M. Jones, re-elected; Corresponding sec retary, Miss Anna Walker, re-elected; Treasurer, Mrs. P. W. Price; Histor ian, Mrs. G. M. Greene; Registrar, Mrs. W. H. Manning, re-elected; Gen ealogist, Mrs. C. N. Burckhalter, re flected; Chaplain, Miss Anna Walker, re-elected. A Evans, who discussed informally the selection and use of such decora tive objects aa mirrors, baskets, clock, candlesticks, flower containers and ar rangement. The diacussion on pic ture* included tome important points as to the selection of suitable pictures for various rooms, correct framing and hanging of pictures and proper placing of pictures in relation to wall space. Meihbers then presented their individual problems for discussion and received helpful suggestions and hints. Miss McNab gave a report of the Better Homes Campaign and com mended the club members on their response to the appeal of the county chairman. Delegates to the State Short Course elected from the Morris Club were: Mrs. Robt. Harden and Mrs. Belton Holly. At the conclusion of the meeting the members of the club made an at tractive display of farm and garden products which shows that the club members are interested not only in the house furnishing project which they have just completed but are in terested also in the raising of edible foods. The exhibit was presented to the agent for future disposal. Members present included Mrs. W. P. Morris, Mr*. C. P. Morris, Mrs. Belle Morris. Mr*. Robert Hardon, Mim Birta Harden, Mr*. W.
