RIarkville, Oct. 18.—Mra. Ryan A. Gyle*. 87, died this afternoon. She waa the wife of Dr. Ryan A. Gyle*, phyaician and mayor of Blackville, and, in addition to her huaband, ia survived by her mother, Mra.* J. O. Bajorott, of Gray Court; two sister*, Mrs. B. T. Holman, of Springfield, and Mrs. Earl Seay, of Spartanburg, and two brothers, Tom Bailey, of Salley, and Jack Bailey, of Moultrie, Ga. The Rev. L. G. Payne, pastor of the Blackville Baptist Church, will con duct the funeral services at 12 o’ clock Wednesday at the graveside in the Blackville cemetery. Mrs. Gytes attended Winthrop Col lege and since her marriage has served as teacher in the Ashleigh school, which position she held at the time of her death. She was regent of the Joseph Roger Chapter, D. A. R., and her life was characterized by unselfish devotion to duty and service to others. DR. HENRY J.
