Allendale, Jan. 31.—While traveling in the same, direction on the highway between Barnwell and Allendale, Thursday night, Morrel Strange, of near Allendale, who was riding on 'the back of a mule, was hit by an automo bile driven by Iradell Lightsey, of Sycamore, at a point near the curve at the coal chute. Mr. Strange was not seriously in jured, but the mule was killed. Mr. Lightsey did not Tstop after the accident, but went on his way.
