Market corn to bring the most money, must be shelled, cleaned, and graded b|it hogs will use it on the ear and even in the shuck if necessary. They eat the small damaged com and the wet corn, besides saving the grower 10 to 15 centg per bushel in cost of preparing it for market. But that is only one of the minor reasons for feeding the surplus com to hogs. They will market every bushel of com fed them for from 25 to 50 percent on our market. At present prices com will bring from 40 to 50 cents more through hogs than on the grain market. In dications are that hog prices will coni tinue at their present level, or higher, for at least 12 months.
