Last week's issue of The People- j Sentinel carried in its columns a no tice stating that R. G. Herndon wa no longer connected in ally capacity with the operation of the Vamp Thea tre, and signed by me. In the opinion of some people there seems to be an idea that there was some misunder standing between Dick Herndon and myself. I would like to say for the benefit of the public that Dick Herndon retit- ed the theatre from me for about two years and all of our business relationis were pleasant and satisfactory and he closed the theatre of his own accord and in a satisfactory, businesslike manner.
