Bamberg Defeats Barnwell, In a one-sided contest on the local diamond Tuesday afternoon, the Bam- berg High School baseball team de feated the local hoys. 13 to 2. The visitors got away to a good lead in the third inning and then after the re sult was never ir, doubt, although Barnwell threatened to simre several times. All members of the Bamberg aggregation played good hall and showed that they have been well trained by Coach Julian Keel. Several hundred men from Barn well and adjoining counties enjoyed a barbecue dinner in Wiliiston Friday ifght which was given by the original members of th<l Davis Bible Class of that town to the rnew members of the claas. All records for Sunday school attendance were broken in Wiliiston the previous Sunday, which marked the close of a three months’ campaign for members, when 603 mer\ answered the roll call of the Davis Bible Class, while! the total attendance at Sunday school that day was 811.
