Although he had been in declining health for the past year, his death came as a great shoek to all as he only lived two days after developing pIeuiolia. Mr. M iller was born near Old Pick ens in Oconee County, March 27, is1. le was a member of the Masonic O1 dtr, Bates Lodge Number 189. lie is survive(d by his widow, who bfore her marriage in 1863, was Miss AnnaI Stone. and by the following sons: lleniiy G.
